When my children were all in grade school, I would dread the onset of November! It seemed that starting in November and running right up until the holiday vacation break, there would be so many school activities—parent nights and open houses, band and orchestra concerts, pageants, plays, field trips—you name it. Holiday Planning for Single Parent Families

I know that the holidays can be a stressful, confusing time for all families—but single parent families have some extra details and stressors thrown in there. We may have to coordinate more events and help our children maneuver between two (or more families) and we may have the added constraints of a single parent’s budget and schedule.
