Finding Energizing Customers

I have talked a bit here in the Home Business Blog about challenging customers and how focused we have to be to work with those tough and challenging people. But, it occurred to me that as challenging as some people can be-there are those customers and clients who are absolute gems. Just being around them and interacting with them can be inspiring and energizing! So, for some balance and pleasantry in your home businesses, it is a very good thing to find and keep those energizing customers.

Energizing customers are really just neat people. Having customers and clients who actually make us want to do well, meet expectations and offer great service can be such an incredible boost. While these customers may stumble upon us (or we may stumble upon them)-there might be some "courtship" that needs to take place. One of the best ways to find and attract energizing, positive customers-is to be just that sort of person yourself.

Positive energy, optimism, manners, excitement-these are all quite contagious. If we send this energy out into the world-particularly when we are networking, doing public presentations, or other marketing and public relations activities-we are bound to have it come back to us in the guise of positive, energizing clients and customers. Instead of dreading and dragging ourselves to events where we'll be meeting potential clients, getting ourselves psyched up and energized will help to draw in clients who make us feel good (instead of ones who drag us down.)

Once you find some energizing customers-do all you can to keep them! That positive, inspirational energy can be great fuel for building your business. Plus, the more you are able to focus on positive, energetic people, the more you'll be able to stay that way yourself.
