Today, I unexpectedly got a letter from my health insurance company. It wasn’t a bill, and it wasn’t a letter telling me that they were going to increase my premiums, or drop my coverage. Well, that certainly didn’t last long! Today, I was able to call the insurance company that recently approved my application for health insurance, and ask them some very important questions about their policy. New York Auto Insurance Fraud Ring Shut Down

A federal investigation has resulted in the dismantling of an auto insurance fraud ring that was working in New York. This group managed to scam insurance companies out of $279 million dollars, by filing bogus claims. They were able to do this by taking advantage of New York’s no-fault auto insurance.
